I sat upright in my silk-upholstered highbacked chair and with a florid flourish of my hand, I spoke thus to the vexed frog: "Minimalism? My dear sir, therein is a work bare of imagination." With my spartan apartment as the only witness I further said: "What of the play of words? The delight in their unfolding of a vista?" I wondered at the angered frog and his manner. It was customary of good-breeding that I, so incensed of him and his impetuous air, did not allow a curse to fly loose from my chapped lips.

Inspired by your post, I wrote something
>They call it Silver Lake because during the winter the water is glazed with soft snow, the only period where angels descend from the skies to grace us with their presence. I lived with my dog in a cabin made of wattle and clay and we would go fishing every Sunday. The day spent in waiting and then a terrible sadness would creep over me after we finished. I have the lived the life of a recluse for so long that I feel like I can no longer participate in normal society.
