Are you ESL or just dumb?
Read some children's books first. Really really basic ones.
Then read Harry Potter.
Once you're done there, try reading The Hobbit. If you struggle too much, read some other kids books. Artemis Fowl is good.

Read books in your native language instead, if you are ESL, otherwise just become an hero.

Even your posts shows how illiterate you are, damn.

10: Read the hardest thing you can follow and get some enjoyment out of.
20: GOTO 10

Also, when it comes to easy reading, good children's fiction > bad adult fiction.

This thread has some decent children's books. My recommendations are the ones with the Nietzsche quotations (starting with The Very Hungry Caterpillar).

Just read slowly more complex children's books, and go for a harder one occasionally like Notes from the Underground. I would also hope you read Mathews the first book of the New Testament in the NIV translation.
