It says on the subtext, retard. That's Averroes. He is somewhat overrated in the West among other Islamic philosophers, but I suppose they were just trying to have a representation of the link between the Greeks and the Christians.

Averroes was a hispano-arabian (andalusian, precisely) philosophers that wrote commentaries and disertations on Classical philosophers, chiefly Greeks. His work was particularly influential due to its geocultural proximity to the vanilla Western Mediaeval millieux; Aquinas wrote an antiaverroes perspective on Platonic (or Aristotelian, can't recall) reasoning.
And in doing so cemented the figure of Averroes as the insignia for Muslim thought - particularly the flourishing movement in Islamic Iberia - in the Western world. The man had a handful of interesting ideas, but it's all practically theology for a contemporary Westerner.
Raphael de Sanzio portrayed him in his "School of Athens" painting in the Vatican apartments, which sought to display a sort of Olympian apotheosis of human thought, that is, universal thought - ergo Averroes. >pic related

Symposium ends with praising childbearing, both literal and spiritual, that the union between man and woman is one of the most beautiful physical things.
In Phaedrus he condemns philosophical lovers to engage in degenerate indulgence, that if they do they'll be doomed to the lowest/first heaven without Wings to ascend with, meaning they're literally one step away from Tartarus. What saved them was their still mostly philosophic lifestyle.
In Republic he says that Master and Student (philosophical lovers) should be like a father and son, that they never should break that relation with bodily pleasure.
In Laws he outright criminalizes Homofaggotry, calling it unnatural.

I 100% agree with everything you say, and I'm aware he put special emphasis on that, but he did also say "and along with any other sexual act which does not sow the seed of birth" or something along those lines. So he put an emphasis on homosexuality, he did the same for heterosexuality if they're not having children. He was right that the poet and philosopher will always be at odds.

Nietzsche believed his ancestors were Polish,[115] at least toward the end of his life. He wore a signet ring bearing the Radwan coat of arms, traceable back to Polish nobility of medieval times[116] and the surname "Nicki" of the Polish noble (szlachta) family bearing that coat of arms.[117][118] Gotard Nietzsche, a member of the Nicki family, left Poland for Prussia. His descendants later settled in the Electorate of Saxony circa the year 1700.[119] Nietzsche wrote in 1888, "My ancestors were Polish noblemen (Nietzky); the type seems to have been well preserved despite three generations of German mothers."[120] At one point, Nietzsche becomes even more adamant about his Polish identity. "I am a pure-blooded Polish nobleman, without a single drop of bad blood, certainly not German blood."[121] On yet another occasion, Nietzsche stated, "Germany is a great nation only because its people have so much Polish blood in their veins ... I am proud of my Polish descent."[122] Nietzsche believed his name might have been Germanized, in one letter claiming, "I was taught to ascribe the origin of my blood and name to Polish noblemen who were called Niëtzky and left their home and nobleness about a hundred years ago, finally yielding to unbearable suppression: they were Protestants."
