>voted in democratically

The Nazis scraped their way into power (importantly not absolute power, they needed a coalition) and then violently seized power. A few months after the election there was exactly one political party in the country. Hitler became ruler in a vote that was famously full of voter intimidation and all sorts of other not very democratic nonsense. We don't get leaders like that any more because they do stupid shit like start a massive war over some silly manic ideals.

Except he had a massive library and found time to read almost everyday, sadly we'll never knew the books he read because his private library was bombed. And he tried to live as virtuously as possible in his day to day life, from eating frugally everyday, to having little to no material possessions of his own, to having or carrying around almost no money and giving what little money he had to passer-by's and regularly sharing his food with the people he passed by on foot or in his car when he drove through the country-side, and to making sure he always helped and stayed connected with his close friends, like his best friend Kubizek
