French and german philosophy is worse than useless. Humanities fags defend studying philosophy with it teaching you to think and express yourself clearly. But german and french philosophy is obviously based around the very opposite.

Russell is absolutely right, though his own philosophy (sense-data) is bad. A lot of people criticize Russell's History, but that's probably his best work.

I don't know how to deliver this information to such a lazy bait thread but German philosophy is pretty conventionally understood as important on a level almost rivaling that of the Greeks, and the faintest initiation to philosophy would make that clear to you. The obscurity of Hegel is an independent issue of Hegel, and it's a significant topic because of Hegel's personal significance, not because of whatever it means about German philosophy. Hegel is not a representative of German philosophy, he's just German. I think you got confused by that other thread about French and German philosophy and thought you were in a position to seem to know anything at all about what you're talking about. The fact that you're implicitly elevating Russell over Kant makes that pretty comical
