I need a book to tell me all this is not real. That it is just a sensory illusion or something like that. I get worked up over things and get anxious and start drinking and stuff like that. Tell me that nothing matters.

Cant recommend any books but It sounds like you would really benefit from the film La Grande Bellezza (The Great Beauty). Its about an Italian writer who grows disillusioned with life (his Roman high society life in particular). It shows how he deals with this deep, and ultimately inevitable existential disillusionment, through a change in his perception of the world. He takes a step back and finds that much of what people concern themselves with and stress over are ultimately meaningless. Godspeed anon.
