Finished this recently. I told my sexy /lit/ girlfriend that it's 16 bit Master and Margarita.

No. It's a real industry term used for denoting graphic pixel density in games.

Both are centered around walpurgisnacht, both have witches, both have a devil who comes to town and starts wreaking havoc. Yes, it's totally different, and that's because Faust is like a 16 bit version of a modern video game. Master and Margarita has a lot of the same themes but it's totally fleshed out and feels more alive.

So yes, it is video game slag applied to literature.

It's apparently not possible to have crossover interests. This is pure tribalism you're displaying.

So this is the full power of zoomer rhetoric. I sure can't wait to hear what Nobel Prize winners will say on their lectures in 30 or 40 years...

Part 2 is an incohesive mess written by the old and senile Goethe.
There is a reason why part 2. is often not included or gets trimmed down in different editions of the book.

What the fuck are you talking about. I was confused as well. Still don't know what you are trying to say. Also why didn't you read Faust in like 9th grade? Coincidentally i finished reading Christopher Marlowe's Faust yesterday. It's very short so you might wanna read it too.

I am a boomer so i had an original SNES and NES. Can you enlighten me about his 16 bit reference? My computer has 24 bit colors. Is he trying to say that Faust sucks?!
