Unironically, the best scene was the one were Levin spends the day cutting hay with the peasants. Could not stand Anna and Vronsky by the end of the book.

Agreed all the farming scenes were comfy. It made me wish I was a peasant. But I disagree that it was the best scene. So many better scenes throughout the book. I kinda think that overall War & Peace reached greater heights though.

Why is it that I find a flawed character like Dimitri in the Brothers Karamazov to be so compelling yet Vronsky is utterly contemptible to me?

I think Dmitri is much more relatable than Vronsky, and that's probably why. Vronsky is also accepted in society even after he's together with Anna while Anna is hated. Dmitri was demonized by society and unjustly sentenced.
