Have any of you guys read "suicide note" by Mitchell Heisman? It is the worlds longest suicide note and has more redpills than culture of critique.

I could understand writing a manifesto before killing others, but before a suicide, you are right, it makes no sense. "Here is a bunch of good ideas that I have no intention to follow through on, but you guys should try it."

I read a little excerpt of him talking about an "objective perspective" caused by death that he would reach. Pretty fucking stupid idea, many very altered perspectives are highly useful. All perspectives are very objective, go buy a laser rangefinder, go get a ruler, etc... The unreal "reality" created by the human mind is what truly allows you to see something as it really is, not just how you see it.
Imagine killing yourself over something a "dude weed" highschooler could have told you. Embarassing.

Why should I indulge some dead pseud who was so dumb and narcissistic that he made his suicide note an attempt to one-up literally everybody ever? That’s the kind of hubris and lack of self awareness I could only expect from a tik toker still in 9th grade. I’d be a cuck if I lent him any legitimacy by reading it. I genuinely hope this guy went to hell.

I read the first 60 pages. He's a strange blend of Schopenhauer and Mumford. He should be considered seriously as a philosopher and presented two key points in his opening that are pretty much cornerstone's to what I could glean from his thought:

1) Viviocentrism - Basically, all life is defined by the living, so biased to being alive (duh but still good)
2) The question isn't, "Is life worth living?" but, "Is there a question worth asking?" for true nihilism

He is fundamentally a materialist and has some edgings of an individualist, but not taking him as a serious thinker is just ignorant.

>Fallacy
Informal fallacy does not exist. When people are engaged in the naturalistic fallacy they are actually affirming the disjunct between nature and modernity. Action, and philosophy derived from nature can be good yet that does not allow us to infer that what we are doing now is not.

Not written to read from the first to the last page in one go.
I read some of them but not a lot, of his chapters. Especially the second half. Tbh somfe of these chapters seemed like a long shitpost, sperging out, not having a red line. They have catching names, like 'Barack Obama: Suppernigger'
I expected more of it, a great work where every sentence would give me great insights. I mean it is the last thing tje guy wrote, his magnum opus. Most of it is commentary and not related to his suicide directly. In that hindsight it's useful, when you read a book/work and look it up in Heisman's book.

>The death of my father marked the beginning, or perhaps the acceleration, of a kind of moral collapse, because the total, materialization of the world from matter to humans to literal subjective experience went hand in hand with a nihilistic inability to believe in the worth of any goal. At one point when I was nineteen, after another descent into a psychological downward spiral, I had enough, and finally launched myself into a “program” of radical selftransformation. What I did was so extreme, it at first probably appears far-fetched. Yet indirect evidence of what I did to myself is implicit in the supra-Weltanschauung underlying this entire work. Combining Nietzsche’s notion of the will to power, and especially the idea of overcoming one’s self, with foundationally anti-Nietzschean, unromantic and materialistic self-view, I basically turned myself into a kind of war machine with the singular aim of overcoming my weaknesses in the cause of life. My most basic assumption was that life is meaningless and that I am an animal-machine — there is no rational justification for willing forward and thus this very thought was answered by willing forward.

As someone who has read the entire thing, he is in no way a serious thinker. I wish I still had a post from a few years ago saved, but in short, he's a pathetic and sad individual like too many who got lost and overwhelmed in theory and philosophy. He had little new to add and died meaninglessly.

>“What does despair mean to someone who interprets that emotion as a chemical reaction in the brain?”

Oftentimes sounds like a high schooler too lmao.

i just read that supernigger chapter
it sounds like a common problem with "centrist" that claim its racial to celebrate a black president and not white
or to celebrate the First Native who graduates, gets a Nobel prize or whatever
the entire reason we celebrate these people is to recognize how far we have come
women used to not even be able to participate in academia even if they are smarter than 99% of mathematicians, simply because they are a women
how else is progress going to happen? People just wake up someday and everyone's treated equally?
Turns out, decades and even centuries old custom and culture have a long half-live
