It is exactly what is going on, though. He was right about nihilism and last men and his entire idea about ressentiment. We live in an era of the oppression olympics, where being a victim is such a virtue that people actively compete against each other for greater victim status.

He was totally right in that.
A lot of his stuff is edgy, too, though. Thus Spoke Zarathustra is kind of garbage unless you're into that kind of thing.

A lot of that shit probably sounds cooler in German but it's still pretty cringe.
