Rothbard embarked on a strategic alliance with the paleocons because he realised that you cannot convince stupid masses to the libertarian axioms so you have to disguise your ideology as paleocon extreme, it was purely out of Leninist pragmatism, he oftentimes praised Lenin as a practical politician

>>Hayek yes, Mises no.
Literally the opposite.
Theoretically Hayek fucked any kind of apodictic structure there might have been in economics to then rant about and try to force epistemological issues of other disciplines that had no relevance to his own domain.
Complete that by deficient historical knowledge and bizarre interpretation. Compare Mises' Theory and History and the Ultimate Foundations of Economic Science to Hayek's Essais.
In terms of practical politics Hayek slowly drifted towards principled® true (cuckold) conservatism™, eliminating most of what is radical in Mises.

Hayek is 'serious' in the sense that he's the one you can bring up even in the most compromised circles.
If anything Mises shrieked against Gustav von Schmoller, historicists in general, Sombart, positivists, and Stuart Mill. The only real rant he made about leftoids is the Anticapitalist Mentality.
Hayek is the domesticated, New York Times friendly version of Mises, with much weaker version of all his theories. Just compare the formal arrangement of the calculation debate by Mises (that soviet economists had to finally admit) versus the ramblings about difficulty of computation by Hayek (which completely misses Mises' point).
Mises still made mistakes, like utilit*rianism, but is still above Hayek.

Your left right spectrum is fucked. Makes deeper analysis much harder when your definition of right is so close to the neo liberal establishment. Libertarians are not considered right wing by right wingers. Their view of power is naive.

Someone does and always will; allowing all individuals to label it according to their own taste means that a large centralised power is going to do all the labeling for the scattered people, you naive retard. Libertarians at the bottom of their principles are inherently against authoritarian power. It is not a vague definition of right. It IS the right. You are the one who has a stilted view of left-right who leaves OUT 40% of the spectrum.

The Rothbardian take on this is that the parents could forbid it, but the child would be in her right to run away and become her own person.
