There is none. Any advice offered by secular knowledge will always pale in comparison to the glory and wisdom of God. Men lack much knowledge and left to their own devices are lost, never finding eternal solace and truth, instead grasping at man-made folly. The truth they offer neglects the soul, the true source of humanity. Let go of your pride, and follow Jesus Christ, for he is the beginning and the end.

Unfortunately people who consider atheism “truth” or intellectually superior suffer the consequences in their own sense of lostness and displacement in the world. The funniest thing about not being religious (or at least spiritual) is that people think they have some intellectual advantage over us yet they’re the ones who have to deal with existential crises and emptiness in the heart. Whether or not they admit it is their own problem but it’s a consequence they suffer for no reason but ego. P

i don't know, dude. do you love your mom? do you think it's worth it to make her happy or, like, call to check in on her from time to time?

the young person's existential crisis is tough to get through but also very common and unfortunately seldom seriously discussed in the mainstream. relax. chill out. don't kill yourself. you might feel 'empty' or 'depressed' or whatever, and that's normal. you don't have to believe in a god or pledge your fealty to some philosophical school. read Camus if you want, i don't care. the book of Ecclesiastes in the Bible might be helpful too. Whoever wrote it was kind of a sad boy too and felt like 'nothing mattered' and was probably heavily doubting the existence of a god and the afterlife, so it's pretty interesting to read as an Athiest/Agnostic too.

after a while you learn to find 'meaning' in the simple things--love, nature, a sense of community, and friendship. the joy of taking a walk or taking a hot bath or going on a long drive or enjoying a nice meal. life doesn't have to have a 'meaning' the same way that a novel or movie might. don't try to force a narrative on this. enjoy it. take satisfaction in feeling joy and creating joy for the people you love.
