Where do I start with Pynchon? I've read that gravitys rainbow and mason & dicson are difficult. English is my second language so whats one of his easier novels in terms of language?

I just finished it last night, and I’d say your rating is completely correct. Parts 1 and 4 are almost equally unenjoyable except part 4 has the passage where Roger Mexico pisses on all those executives and then escapes without getting caught and then the other passage where him and Seaman Bodine go to that dinner and make every one puke. Part one has nothing

Part one has the scene with the adenoid and the banana breakfast. Each part something memorable I really didn't enjoy part 4 all that much outside of the Bulb reflecting on his immortality. Part 2 was really fast paced and had my favourite scene in the whole book which was the squid fighting scene otherwise really fast paced, The Zone was just phenomenal.
