I'm a natural pessimist but I've never had anything I would consider a bad trip. It had shown a light on some of my psychological flaws and allowed me to change those aspects. I'm a natural pessimist, I've been abused, neglected and have been suicidal since I was 10 years old. I don't resist bad trips for this reason. I'm already used to feeling suicidal, paranoid, and sometimes have hallucinations in my sober baseline state. I don't freak out or resist when I feel these things on psychedelics as I've always been used to these feelings.

Go to a forest everyday anon, or anyone sanctuary of nature. Always pay attention to the birds, love nature with all your heart and you will become more tranquil, more positive, more open than any drug could ever teach. Get into buddhist literature if you want, but I have achieved peace and happiness without too much literature. It is the best feeling in the world to be in the moment surrounded by nature, with your only thoughts on the depth and fantastical patterns of nature, and it all starts with simple appreciation. Always thank birds for their time, some people think me an autist/schizoid, but to admire the birds has given me the greatest joy. Don't destroy your spirit with drugs.

When I was getting into it, I had the "ohhh no bro don't take it on your own you need others there just in case bro", as if another 17 year old laughing at his hands would help someone going through a bad trip. Others have always spelled trouble for me, whether it was their selfishness, my inability to let go around others, or their own bad trip overlapping into mine.
