I know they're pleb tier, but the only two I read were:

>God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything - Christopher Hitchens
>The God Delusion - Richard Dawkins

Those were both pretty enjoyable. Also, Richard Dawkin's "Greatest Show on Earth" was really good, but it's basically a biology book on all of the concrete evidence for evolution with a little bit of anti-religious views peppered in.

This gap in basic theological understanding I find to be the most common error in your average midwits thinking.
They think they're entitled to an explicit explanation of the motivations and reasoning of an entity which created the universe. They're willing to accept He can do this, and all the other miraculous acts, but then think He owes them at exact reason why He's arranged things the way He has.
Who are we to ask?
