that's a true that has been repeated multiple times but i'm not sure what it really means
this is my openion:
a) postkantian philosophers literally don't gave a shit about Kant ( fichte, schelling, hegel, you name it)
b) neokantianism died with Cassirer in Davos
c) if the core of philosophy would be the more comprehensive system of philosophy, then we would be talking about hegel
d) most anglo philosophers just take the epistemologic aspect of Kant
c) philosophy is and has alway been a regional enterprise, i haven o idea what your departament of philosophy thinks about Kant

No philosophical system can guide your life. Period. What you need to do is learn from your experience and base your philosophy on that. I like stoicism a lot, but it's not fit for me, so I grab what is in line with my thoughts and use. Not the other way around.
