Can I start writing haikus without reading any poetry whatsoever?
I wanna do art and haikus seem to be the easiest art form there is (besides experimental noise music which I already do)

I was wondering about this as well, I've read a little poetry but my understanding and skills are weak so haiku seemed a great place to start. I downloaded a Vixenor collection of haiku, should I just read and write as much as I can?
