The Abacab album has more than just the self-titled in terms of good songs. Me & Sarah Jane is my all time favorite Genesis song.

Their early materiel is some of my favorite prog ever, but their later stuff is a masterclass in pop song writing. In fact if you look at their work holistically they have always been about writing good songs, they just shifted the focus from cinematic pieces to concise pieces, and even then they still retain interesting storytelling.
