Is there anyone on here who's genuinely educated? Any professors, scholars etc? People who have a real intellectual footprint.

Not sure if this counts but
>got into a top 5 school
>spent entire time with an upside down schedule
>do nothing but read, make friends, try drugs, educate myself very well about anything unrelating to classes
>dismissed after 2 semesters
>took an iq test and got a score higher than what is testable on the test
>tested my score with a psychologist/psychitarist or whatever the fuck the iq man is called
>180+
>fight depression (or try to at least. I can't tell if I am still depressed or not)
>Get readmission and destroy all classes with little to no work other than lack of depression
>all has now gone to waste with corona

Thinking outside the box here (heh). If the top is open you can place it on the opposite corner inside the box. So it would need to walk to the top to get inside and then to the bottom of the other side to get to the food.

This board is predominately young people (18-30) who really would be extremely interested in anything so long as it was a meaningful expression of self and complex, but because we were born into the computer era this is the only form of community we have for our hobby. The other group, much smaller, (38+), are all professors, educated people, or writers that have heard about this place from one of us. I have zero doubt that the older groups probably lurk when they're extremely board, but honestly, they're more likely to read Aeon, Paris Review, Atlantic, the Hedgehog Review, N+1, or otherwise, than /lit/. The reason the younger doesn't, and you still have the occasional intelligent person that clearly mogs people, is because the opinions expressed in those periodicals are normally as half baked and puerile as what's on this board. Also, those periodicals cost money and I can't shitpost in them. Also, the interface isn't intuitive and the blatant sexism/racism/xenophobia does turn off the older crowd because A) it is excessive, and B) they have kids and risking their rep on this shitty site is idiotic.

Here's a simpler explanation: 4chan has been around since 2003. It's almost 20 years old by now. If you discovered this site even in 2010, that's 10 years ago. Out of the millions of visitors, is it so hard to grasp at least a few of them 1) stuck around and 2) are very smart in the conventional, educated way?
