I feel like anything that has a low rating on Goodreads is just a book that is too hard or doesn't have enough women characters and makes wine-moms and soibois feel small. So Blood Meridian or Iliad for me.

I know we love it here, but on goodreads one of if not the greatest pieces of literature in the English language has only a 3.5/5 because midwit pseuds are too stupid to understand prose poetry or symbolism. Or because they get upset at non-narrative chapters because philosophy makes their brains hurt.
