Shirer's Rise and Fall. Dump it after you get to Barbarossa. Up until then it was all first hand or second hand. Barbarossa onward is the standard Keitel fiction that has been debunked. Shirer bailed out of Germany so he lost his contacts. Hitler's war and The Desert Fox by Irving are pretty good. Fox covers the relationship between Hitler and Rommel.
