Also, since we're talking about Berserk, has anyone here read that new manga Miura produced/wrote? If you're a sucker over-analyzing and looking for symbolism there are a lot of potential parallels to Berserk. It might serve as a supplement of sorts if you're willing to let your imagination take off. Think of it as a kind of primitive psycho-sexual shadow of Berserk, in which most major players are present in some capacity. Some of the roles are swapped around of course but of course that negation only serves to more boldly underline things. Now of course you might just say Miura was just being lazy and reusing elements but I think that makes an even stronger case for interpretation, because you could argue that in his dream-like malaise his subconscious mind projected the underlying elements of Berserk onto a fresh, virginal, canvas. Also it's about shotas and they pose lewdly in mud-baths.
