Ok, I think I've come across that before actually. I remember reading on Wikipedia, but never finding it again, about a guy, either the biographer or translator of - probably not Stirner, but I think it was a 19th/early 20th-century anarchist type -, who is also remembered in his own right for being a gay (and writing on the topic). Shot in the dark, but any idea?

Well it's not Stirner, he was a teacher and his other (business) endevour were failures. He died of a bugbite and was forgotten for the longest time.
