Tolkien wrote The Lord of the Rings because he wanted to give England its own mythology. It’s literally an English mythology series and there’s nothing wrong with being pissed about that American social political issues are being forced into an English mythology story.

You’re feeling ethnocentrism, and it’s not inherently bad. Racism is dragging a nigger through the streets after he touched a white woman. Ethnocentrism is saying “hey, maybe let’s not force diversity into cultural landmarks.” Do you think Africans would be pleased if their folk hero’s were portrayed as whites?
If the Indian’s rulers were portrayed as Chinese? No. They would be upset. Are they right to be upset? I think they are. And applying that same logic, it is perfectly normal and acceptable to be unhappy with forced diversity in your own culture’s works.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with wanting them to do justice to the source material and not change random shit just for WOKE POINTS.
It doesn't happen with any other race or culture. It only happens to whites, and that's not even a specific "whites", that's just the global "whites", even though "whites" are about as diverse, if not more, than any other race out there.
