I tend to see more disregard for female depression than male depression, but maybe that's just because I spend too much time here. There are more charitable organizations dedicated to helping female victims of domestic abuse than there are for male victims. Beyond that institutional access is mostly similar. The difference is that a depressed man is unlikely to elicit much aid from strangers or people with only passing familiarity, most women (especially if they're pretty) will have more men willing to help them simply by virtue that men enjoy spending time with pretty girls.
