That would actually be cool, imagine a cosmic horror "this shit you've read about in quaint diluted folk tales is actually beyond horrifying in its reality" take on djinni and rakshasa and crap like that. Like an occult thing set in the Victorian Near East, where some Crowleyan dabbler goes overseas and gets embroiled in real fucked up shit, because all the Islamic/Indian versions of "occultism" are thousands of years old so much more powerful and real than some theosophy or golden dawn crap in England, but also degenerated and inbred and much more dangerous as a result.
