I hate all lies and many of the doctrines are self defeating, like sola scruptura. The bible is meant to be the sole rule of faith, but the bible doesn't say that. It doesn't tell us what books belong in the bible and it can't settle radically different but faithful interpretations of the text which would have eternal consequences, like the Eucharist or baptism. The bible doesn't give us a reason to think it's divinely inspired.

If I was Satan and I wanted to destroy the Church I would do exactly what the early protestants did. Satan is no dummy.

But each of us has heard, at one time or another, a protestant sperg out about their legalistic system of theology. I have been confronted by protestant preachers in public many times. They say stuff like “hi! Want to come to our bible study?” They all get butthurt when I tell them I’m catholic. And then they have a conniption fit when I show them my rosary. So no, we have heard protestant apologetics. But I never see Catholics doing that. I wish we did. We need the friars to come back into vogue. The mendicant orders; the Dominicans, the Franciscans, the Capuchins- public preaching used to be their forte.
