I'm going to mail some books to my QT foreign ESL cousin. She said she likes Cien Años de Soledad and Greek mythology. What should I send her?
I was thinking of sending her my copy of Virginia Woolf's shorter fictions. Woolf's short stories are beautiful and hopefully not too complicated for an ESL. I have Wuthering Heights on my to-read list which I may send if it isn't too complicated for an ESL.
On my spanish to-read list I have Borges, Quiroga, Puig, Casares, Neruda and La Divina Comedia which I may send her when I'm finished.

Send her Aleph.

Send Borges. It's Spanish and maintains that feeling of myth/fable that it sounds like she enjoys. For accessible English work I'd send Steinbeck
