Has anybody on /lit/ read this?
The notion of an evanescent, fleeting, flowing reality that both is the source and the finality or product of existence is all i really know about Aztec philosophy - so i'm interested to learn more. I've read that they have some very profound poetic works, but i am yet to have read any. Does this book contain translations of Aztec literature?

General thread for Aztec philosophy, i guess

Yes, I'm the guy who originally recommended it here in 2014. I mostly stay off all social media to read and live life, but a couple times a year I come back to see if anyone is recommending anything good, and here is one of my favorite books showing up.

Thanks for warming my heart, anon

The author extensively cites Spanish and Nahuatl language texts, but they're not available at all in English, and are hard to find digitally in Spanish/Nahuatl (not to mention Nahuatl is a comically obscure language).

I've been looking for that one Aztec Codex whose name escaps me for awhile, is this the one about the philosophical conversations by the wise men?
