Apparently Isaac Asimov is problematic because his works dont have any good female characters. Wow! Have you ever had to put down a book because you couldnt relate with its characters?

Some writers had trouble with characters of the opposite sex. There are plenty of female authors who can't write a male character either

To be fair, most women don't like those either. Mainly thanks to Asimov's use of flat affect and disdain for flowery prose. Conveying emotion through character's actions, rather than their language is pretty much female readers kryptonite.

Atwood is reddit core. Swap that for Munro and you have a deal.

She’s actually correct.
>aaaaaagh the ineffable horror of violence that is so innate to man
>aaaaaaaagh the paradoxical juxtaposition of the majestic technological wonders produced by war and the residual primality of the man creating it who must perpetually transpose his ape-brain onto the fabric of reality
Cringe
