My favorite is Advaita Vedanta because it has cool aesthetics, because it logically btfos a lot of other philosophy and because I find that reading the highest-quality Advaita writings can immediately induce mind-blowing transcendental experiences while I'm just sitting there looking at the page without having to do anything like meditation or yoga first.

I personally like to weave some non-religious texts in as well, as they're often inspired by the religious texts, or give you a good feel for them, or they let you see the religious concepts you've been reading about put into use.
