Was surprisingly a pretty gud book, desu. Simply put and short. Good entry to reactionary/traditional/eco-fascist/anarcho-futurist politics, wherever you would want to go from there.

48 to 58 is so spot on. I just read the part, and Jesus he describe everything I feel. Geez he is/was such great thinker. He has a great mind.
What book should follow? I read in a small book club comprised if 4 of my friends and we alternate from an english to french book! Any french or anglo book to follow that?
We were thinking reading some Proudhon/Maurras.

Honestly, I've been simultaneously reading 'Ride the Tiger' by Julius Evola (Italian author) as well as Archeofuturism by Guillaume Faye (French author). I like both, Faye is more political, Evola is more philosophical, so it depends what you're looking for.

With both, I've needed to look up a lot of words, though. Pretty insane vocabulary use, but I could just be a brainlet.

I already read Ride the Tiger. Julius Evola has a little mystic aura around him and his writings. He mixes, greatly, reality, history and mythology in a romantic way. I wish I will read more of him.

>Archeofuturism
I have not read it. I have seen it on some /lit/ chart here and there. Is it more a book about the psyche of early society or the future we can have that can resemble it?

And if I can recommend you a good book following Ride The Tiger; I recommend some René Guénon. Try La crise du monde moderne. Or The Crisis of the Modern World. It ressembles Ride the Tiger. But Guénon has a really precise way of expressing itself that is remarquable. In french (I dont know about the english translation) he builds big sentences that could be 3 different sentences and he juxtapose them in a way that he gives relation to sentences in a sentence. Its like for him a sentence can be a really precise paragraph. I found it a bit hard to read some time. It kind of demanding on the attention/knowledge/understanding level. In conclusion his style of writing is very old french, late 1800s and to read this with the modern education I received is not an task. I kind of need to educate myself in the spirit of Guénon age before being able to try to feel his meaning. In my opinion Guénon is greater then Évola

Archeofuturism is from 2010, and it's a fun mishmash of a self critique of the modern right and "alt-right" for not going far enough in a lot of places, speculation of the future, political and personal strategies where we can reach a desired political goal, 'spit balling' of ideas of a new political system that could lead us away from both modern industrial capitalism as well as the existential masochistic self-loathing nightmare the modern left wants to lead us in, and then it ends with a fun short scifi story set in the future of what that superior future may be like.

It's really bizarre, and oddly both scathing in modern societal critiques as well as strangely optimistic with a lot of energy. Really fun read, not like a lot I've read so far, granted my experience is pretty limited, I read far less than I should.
