I assume you wish such a thing in order to give the universe meaning, but I assure you it wouldn't. If God exists, the universe isn't any more meaningful, since we then have to ask "where did God come from? What is the purpose of his existence?" which leads back into nihilism. I suppose you could answer "I wish God were real and that His creator were also real," but again, where did His creator come from and what is his purpose, et cetera ad infinitum.
