look, battery life, availability, fragility, tactility, arguably memorability (if you believe poorly sourced articles, and perhaps intuition), overall reliability, and character. look at them, these flaws in the ebook format. let software seekers have their works in libraries they cannot feel. i prefer a nice chummy warm book in my hands. something i can even rip up symbolically if i please. something i can open up years later to find a food stain that brings to mind a ten year distant nostalgic epiphany.

I do this too but digitally. if load up my kindle there are maybe one or two books that I have read to 90 percent or more, the rest are 26 percent here, 45 percent there. The difference here is that these people buy these for decorations.

How am I projecting? I admitted to sometimes not reading all the way through the books I own digitally, but I don't buy these books solely for decorations like a lot of you, that's the difference here. You can tell from a lot of these pictures that the books have never been cracked open and are just bought to make their room look even more pretentious. I know it's a hard pill to swallow.

Like I said, I actually attempt to read the book and sometimes I enjoy it, sometimes I don't make it all the way through. Then comes the subject matter of the books being bought on here and not being read, they go together like peanut butter and jelly. This is coming from someone who hates reading books by the way.

Having said that I have now left this thread. Bye
