>why read philosophy? just turn off your brain and NPC yourself into nothingness
no thanks, my life is enjoyable and fulfilling enough that I don't want to disassociate myself from it

Anicca (impermanence) is conventional reality, not ultimate. Anicca is a phenomenological observation on the nature of conditioned phenomena (in the world of relative truth) as they manifest to us in our conscious experience. However, Nirvana (ultimate truth) involves no such notions of process. The teachings of dependent arising and sunyata clearly point out that any idea of the process of phenomena can only ever be a conventional/relative observation. It is an important observation (since it shows the self-contradictory nature of our deluded/unenlightened perception, in that we perceive phenomena/objects as stable, with self-nature, lasting, while simultaneously perceiving them as being in flux, marked by impermanence): however, once enlightenment is realized, impermanence doesn’t mean.
>all conditioned things are impermanent" >"all conditioned things are unsatisfactory"
>all dharmas (conditioned or unconditioned things) are not self"
