I always make sure to do two things whenever I'm criticizing capitalism:

1) Make it clear that you don't have to be left-wing to criticize capitalism, and that in fact most critics of rationalized technocratic modernity and rapacious finance capital were right-wing for a century.
2) Make it clear that "capitalism" doesn't mean entrepreneurship, markets, or even principles like free trade, it specifically means the self-proliferation of capital by reducing every sphere of human existence as a domain for colonization by capital. Trade and competition can and SHOULD exist even in a society that restrains capitalism. Capitalism's entelechy is international financial speculation, not free markets or anything like that.

And I guess a third thing:
3) Marxists can be co-opted for right-wing causes. Many Marxists are humanitarian (a good thing) and simply hate rootless finance capital (a good thing). Any other aspects of their thinking (habitual attachment to internationalism for instance) are surprisingly easy to get rid of, as soon as you give them a taste of real anti-capitalist praxis and make them realize such praxis is never going to come from rich college kids quibbling over the causal nexus of quantum fluctuations in the room when a general strike was being debated in August 1914.

These hidebound doctrinaire types should be ignored however, since they're not looking for a conversation. Usually because they haven't actually read Marx and don't feel confident enough to defend his ideas, so any potential threat to those ideas needs to be dismissed prima facie.
