Yeah I know right?

I was reading fiction for some good few months and laid philosophy to the other side, then I picked up some books by Wittgenstein, Seneca and Schopenhauer and I got astounded by what I discovered : I learn more and gain more enjoyment from reading 3 pages of any of these philosophers than reading an entire book by Dostoyevski or Tolstoy.

no, the next step is to become obsessed with philosophical systems of thought, then realize you just picked one you really emphasize with; and then you drop it all and return to fiction

don't forget, you're here forever

so you read competing systems of thought and realized you liked it all because it made you feel smart?

...foolish....

but seriously, you should acquaint yourself with philosophical issues before you just run into it.

stop projecting. I don't agree with all of those writers necessarily, but it is the entertaining of thoughts which brings true delight to the soul and mind, even if they compete against one another, niglet.

The first sip of a glass of literature will find you fiction, the second one philosophy, but once you take the last sip, you meet fiction again.
