Memeing has lot to do with being transgressive, the social left is dominant in the culture and is therefore mostly incapable of being genuinely transgressive. While the latest innovations in social leftism will always *feel* transgressive to their vanguard proponents, the core of each innovation is always “more liberalism, more egalitarianism than there was a year ago”. This social progressivism (of course things should be more equal!) has become normative in our culture, and as such the social left will only ever be relatively transgressive, because none of their enemies besides complete pariahs dare to contradict their basic assumption that more equality is good (this is why the social left always wins, their enemies are completely demoralized already).It is easy for the radical right to be transgressive and thus memeable because they are the only ones willing to challenge the notion that equality exists and/or has value, because “more equality is always good” is a premise that has bound western civilization for possibly hundreds of years
