How long does it take you to finish a book? Also any tips on speed reading

This is a stupid question. Books have too many variables to consistently answer how long it takes to finish one. Is the book 10 pages or 1000? Is the vocabulary and concepts within it complicated or astoundingly simple?

The simple answer to reading faster is to read more. Actively. Participatory. Sitting up straight and focusing with all your might on the words on the page.

When the brain is over exposed to information it has difficulty processing and storing the information. You could move your eyes over a whole page in less than a second and not remember a god damn thing. Whats the point in that anon?

Fucking wojak posters.

There's zero reason to speed read a book unless you're going to it for a very specific bit of information and don't actually care about anything else.

This. The problem isn't speed but attention.

I don't blame people for having shit attention spans though. It's the times.

Just keep a notepad and write down how far you get in an hour and improve breadth for see t then speed. For speed just two glances each line, start at 3 if it helps
