Given the importance of Vinetian trade, explore the influence of Machiavelli on the development of Sicily and the origins of the American Mafia in these early misinterpretations.

Discuss the effect of various publishing methods and packaging have affected the public attitude towards his ideas; e.g. his reception at the time, distributed only by expensive manuscripts as compared to the general perception today, when he is distributed by Penguin Classics.

Yeah, that is a good idea too. Thanks a lot, mysterious anon!

If you can keep going, I'd appreciate it. I'm finishing my last year in an IR degree and I need to make this thesis quick. I've bought like, 300 USD worth of books on Machiavel so I've got the source material now.

Explore the Orwellian implications of Machiavelli's position as Chancery given the content of his later works, and use this as an opening into the study of medieval/renaissance information warfare.

I'm thinking of doing precisely this. Fuck originality. Copying is the fucking answer.

Hot take: Everything new is mostly something old and borrowed cobbled together, with the seams covered up by a fresh coat of paint.

What the hell, Luigi, you can see what fortune can do to men. You had just finished fucking your woman when you want another one. I've been in Modena for several days when I came across an old woman who washes my shirts. She asked me to come into her hovel because she wished to show me some fine shirts. Innocent prick that I am I went in. There was a woman over in the corner. "This is the shirt that I wanted to sell you," the hag said. I was terrified. But I fucked her. I found her thighs flabby and her cunt damp. Her breath stank. But I was horny. When I was finished I took a torch and looked at her. I nearly dropped dead. The woman was ugly. She had a tuft of hair on her head but her head was bald. Her forehead was scarred. One eye looked up, the other down. Her eyes were filled with mucus, and she had no eyebrows. Her nose was twisted into a funny shape. Her mouth looked like Lorenzo de' Medici's but was bent to one side. She was toothless and saliva drooled out of her mouth. Her upper lip had a moustache. I looked at her stupefied. "What's the matter sir?" she asked me. As soon as she opened her mouth, such a stench came out that my eyes and nose were put to such indignation, that my stomach was not able to bear such offense and I vomited all over that old cunt; and so having paid her with the kind of money she deserved, I left.

And you're right. Let me tell you. I put a lot of heart into my final history paper and the end result was negative. I collected too much material and I couldn't really make a cohesive historical argument at the end. I was so tired by the end I just ended up fucking up my presentation and looking like a sperg. My professors even told us "we don't expect anything interesting or original analysis from history undergraduates," it was a formality desu and probably a hindrance to their own research. So go for it and copy it. I guarantee that your professors won't even be assed to look if its plagiarized, but I'd do a decent job rewriting in your own words and having done some of your own reading to confirm that what's being written is valid.

False, misleading, or distracting information to change public sentiment and influence political control. The very idea of the dark ages vs renaissance is revisionist. What kind of enlightenment leads to more devastating wars and a less free populace? Did anyone ever live who did not have a contemporary society? How then could something be modern? If our society today truly follows the lineage of the Romans, why do our political conventions and tropes date only to the French revolution?
