Basically, boomerisms are like just world fallacies, but to the point of being laughable to anyone who wasnt born in a world where you could buy a house for 20k. 12 rules for life was like this, you could read it and laugh your ass off because of how retarded the advice was. I expected the subtle art of not giving a fuck to be like that, but it wasn't, it was just terrible.

I like the lectures at x2 speed and the online questions and the practice MBE's. The "review your notes and the outline" stuff kinda seem useless. I think the lectures to prime your brain and then just using practice questions is the way to go. Just pop an addy anon and push through. You got this. Give yourself 3 /lit/ refreshes between assignments.

So, I read the 12 rules for life wikipedia summary. I dont get what's bad about the rules. Most of them were precepts in some form in ancient philosophy, the Bible, and even eastern religions. They have nothing to do with being a baby boomer. Is the actual book different?

It is clear that a majority of the people on this board are underage and/or students. They have no legitimate life experience and therefore have nothing of interest to say. Most of them are probably still living with parents. The worst thing about it is that this is one of the better boards. Every 14-17 year old in the world seems to have decided that their opinion is valuable and subsequently they have flocked to every part of this website to spout their underdeveloped nonsense on every topic.

As long as you read Hesiod before Virgil and Ovid, you’re fine. Sophocles is just a far more interesting read but he doesn’t really build off of anything from Hesiod. Virgil’s Georgics are didactic agricultural poetry (like Hesiod’s W&Ds) while Ovid’s Metamorphoses is an anthology styled off of Hesiod’s Theogony.

I'm taking an online certification course, so I need to finish that first before getting into lit again. NONE. NONE OF THE IMPOSTERS are me.

Take a fucking step back. Who the fuck are you even? Are you stupid or something. I thought it was generally understood this site was divided into two main groups:

- The older groups
- The younger babies

The babies are like 22 or so. These are the imposters. They don’t know what a nice woman is like these days because for whatever reason women suck for no reason suddenly (although for some reason I have actually been attributed the cause of it, although if that is indeed the case then it is a mass delusion/misunderstanding of my original intention for society/ again I am the ‘nobody’ as /x/ likes to put it). But anyway the babies come and go butterfly. They are not here long.

If you thought CRITICALLY, like someone who actually has some critical faculties to use, you’d understand I’m more mature than that. I’m mature enough to make you enamored with me, and that should be enough.

The older group, which I THOUGHT included you and me, now includes just me trying to get you to understand that I do appreciate you mentioning me in your posts but I would also appreciate it if you recognized only about 5% of the posters ITT are going to stick around. We are in a high turnover website/board. Just how it is.

You have to think critically sometimes. Analyze things for what they are. That’s how I got what I said to earlier. And I hate to say that. Because I care about you
