I'm 2-3 generations separated away from farmers though. All of my grandparents with the exception of my paternal grandmother were farmers who were given homes in the city under Krushchev's reforms. My mother became a translator and my father a failed businessman turned handyman. No one in my family went to university.

Did we have engineers from the beginning of society or what? Scientists know a lot less than they pretend to do. The differences had to evolve and it most likely has to do with enough nutrients for proper development through generations not some mystical differences in human dna.
