I hadn't read a book since I was 15, which was 11 years ago, but I picked up the habit again recently and breezed through 3 books in a week.

I was confused because I thought I'd be out of practice and find it hard to pay attention, but then it dawned on me. I've spent the last 11 years reading and writing hundreds of words every day on various boards. I've probably read the equivalent of 500+ novels and written the equivalent of 50+ novels in all that time. I guess I didn't waste my life completely.
