When I was 9 I went to go see Eoin Colfer when he was on a book tour behind the new Artemis Fowl books. He was the most charming, funny lecturer and has a great reading voice. Even my parents were floored, and even considered reading his books afterwards. I still have my signed copy of The Arctic Incident, it was one of the happiest nights of my childhood.
