There's nothing empirically wrong with empiricism, however, you can't have ALL the relevant data. There's more to real life than empiricism. Also, sometimes, you gotta do a leap of faith.

This. It's essentially measurement problems. Empiricism is very limited in scope and trash if applied when it isn't actually empirical. AKA when people try to be lazy and think the data they have is "good enough"
