Just increase speed gradually. You'll get used to it in no time. People talk so slowly anyway.
I slow down to ~125% if I'm listening to fiction for some reason.
I still prefer to read fiction with my eyes.

I was driving home, listening to the book. I was working out this morning, listening to the book. I'm almost through it.
