should i read this? i got a copy for free. i enjoyed wind up bird but felt "hardboiled wonderland & the end of the world" and "kafka on the shore" were mostly wastes of time, maybe only because murakami tends to repeat himself. i've heard mixed things about this

I got a copy for christmas because my family know i like books
havent read it yet ill probably read all of murskamis stuff chronologically first because thats what i do with most authors

Dude, read it. I also didn`t like hardboiled & Kafka,
but i would rate 1Q84 second best after wind up bird.
