I saw the romance novels that my ex read. They were void of literary merit. That isn't to say it's a bad thing, since it's not the point of that kind of book to begin with.

Conversely, males also consume a large amount of scifi/fantasy that are very much just a different side of the same coin. That isn't to say that there are not good fantasy or romance novels, just that, generally, it is not the objective of said books.

If you compare the amount of men and women who read literary fiction and non-fiction, however, you would likely get close to an even split.

hegemonic masculinity is quite toxic, yes
also, with the advent of feminism, toxic masculinity isn't even relevant. height is the only thing that matters to a bitch, or anyone at all for that matter. it doesn't matter how much of a man you are. height is the measure of a man. this is what men have been reduced to. it doesn't matter how well-educated, rich, successful, athletic, handsome, or intelligent you are. all that matters is the length of your skeleton. because, if you're bigger than someone else you can dominate them! and that's what defines a man, his ability to dominate others. if you can't dominate others, you're not a man and you'll even get raped by other, more dominant men. because domination is the unquestionable essence of masculinity, the absolute measure and truth of a man, known by all. if you're short, if you're not a big tall man, you're a faggot, a creep, a rapist, a pedophile, etc. height is the only thing that matters to anyone.

I sneer because I used to do a lot of that and have learned that to keep your level of progress in functional strength you have to invest too much of your weekly time. Not only that, but as you go higher with the level of strength you want, the amount of time and dedication you need to put into it actually climbs exponentially. In other words, diminishing returns. I philosophize that if your job does not require great manual labor then you need not waste all that time for unnecessary strength. I personally experienced two years of progress fall right off because I stopped entirely for only four months. Lastly, all that strength isn't even essential for better health; a stronger heart and lungs is much more important than strength.

I came to realize that the human body is biologically designed to be resource-efficient and resource-economical. Unfortunately a body with more mass will have a higher nutritional upkeep cost. Not only this, but as soon as your exceptionally strong muscles realize their strength is not being needed, they will shed it because that's what they're programmed to do.

>Once I was boarding a plane, and had a copy of Persona 5 in hand. Walking past a real qt, her eyes lit up and she blurted out how great the game is. We didn't have time to talk, but damn, I can't think of an instant in my life when a woman was more attractive.

Because reading is not manly. It's a form of cuckoldry. You're willingly indoctrinating yourself with the ideas of others, the philosophies and stories of others, instead of creating your own and enforcing YOUR views and YOUR stories on others.
It's beta bitch behavior.

>Eating is a form of cuckoldry. You are literally obtaining other organism's energy instead of creating your own. Do not eat

Reading things doesn’t mean you are simply reading the ‘ideas’ of others you fucking moron. Go back to /v/ or some other corner of this site where you belong.

Sometimes you read about things actually are.

Was this supposed to be ironic? Because this is absolutely true. The only reason we accept it as normal behavior and not cuckoldry is because most people have to eat food for energy while few can produce their own. The many removed the stigma of cuckoldry from eating by force of the sheer volume of people who want to believe it's not true. It's literally an untermensch redefinition of eating that makes you think that eating isnt a form of cuckoldry.
