Since there seem to be lots of Mongolia bros on this board, what's some good Mongolian lit that's been translated? Can be anything, but philosophy, history, poetry preferred

I think I read somewhere that Dante Alighieri was originally from Mongolia. Speaking of which...

Does anyone have the Dante’s Inferno pasta? My dad deleted my /lit/ meme folder and I really miss it.

Mongolian here.

You can start by reading Natsagdorj, Renchin and Ayurzana. I'll write their names in Mongolian below. Philisophy books here are usually just translations of the basics, I can't find that many books on traditional philosophy that isn't connected to Buddhism in any way. Natsagdorj was educated in Germany so if you know both German and Mongolian, you might notice some patterns that align in the manner they are written in. I'm currently reading foreign books so I am in no place to recommend you new books. There is a post modernist novel by the name of 4 bish 4 by Anudar, some proto punk guy who's very well known among teens here. You can find me on discord, I'll help you out with Mongolian and Mongolian literature if you want me to. I'll check this thread in a few hours

Glad to be of service. Mongolians are generally nicer to Russians compared to other tourists in urban areas if that helps. I'd also encourage you to study Mongolian on your own, there's a mega link on /int/ on the /lang/ thread.

that's nice. i was impressed by how mongolian sounds in this song https://youtu.be/v4xZUr0BEfE though people probably don't talk like this irl.
i also used to be a diehard equestrian in my early teens, i wonder if there's even a demand for people who can work with horses? staying for a month or two as a helper seems comfy enough. i know at least in europe some farm-owning families welcome workers from abroad.

Well you're not completely wrong but less growl, more lisps(girls sound annoying sometimes)

Never heard of such a thing but you can probably arrange something like that with a local family through a friend, I've only heard of horse rides from tourist companies but that only lasts for a few hours
