He’s clearly smart enough to know that what he preaches is full of shit. I really wonder, if he is perfectly willing to trick millions of people and feed them what he knows to be essentially lies and false hope, all while profiting immensely, and grealy enjoying his roleplaying as a wise, deep thinker, how corrupt of a soul do you think he has? He’s obviously not just a quack, but a deeply dishonest and immoral man.

He is helping a repressed class, anon. A gender under siege. Why do you want to discredit him?

Do you hate men? How often do you participate in /lgbt/ threads?

Peterson, Jordan. Dislike him. A depressed psychologist, cringeworthy and unhellpful. A charaltan, a wannabe psychiatrist and a slapdash father. Some of his advice is extraordinarily amusing. Nobody takes his platitudinous journalism seriously.
Political Correctness Gone Mad. His best work, though an obvious and shameless imitation of Zizek's "Did Somebody Say Totalitarianism?"
Maps of Meaning. Dislike it intensely.
12 Rules of Life. Dislike it intensely. Ghastly clichéd.

Elaborate. You claim he's clearly smart, what makes this so?
>if he is perfectly willing to trick millions of people and feed them what he knows to be essentially lies and false hope, all while profiting immensely, and grealy enjoying his roleplaying as a wise, deep thinker, how corrupt of a soul do you think he has
Many assertions but you're not backing any of it up.
>He’s obviously not just a quack, but a deeply dishonest and immoral man.
You've made no case here.

he's just enjoying the ride while it last desu
12 rules was as normie as it comes, so perhaps he is trying to branch out into mainstream self-help bullshit before he falls back into obscurity

Detest it. Melodramatic and vilely written. To consider it a masterpiece is an absurd delusion.

/lgbt/ is more of a tranny board to be fair. I remember when general gay conversation was allowed on /hm/ back before /lgbt/ was made. Had a very different tone and quality to it. *sips* yep, those were the days

Can you give some examples? You're just making claims assuming we agree cuz this place tends to be a hivemind sometimes. But really, it would be best for everyone if you actually backed up your claims.

Brainlet: Jordan Peterson is right about everything
Midwit: Jordan Peterson is wrong about everything
Genius: Jordan Peterson is technically "right" about most of the things he talks about but frames them in a dishonest way

His intellect has little bearing on his beliefs outside of psychology. I imagine he sees his political beliefs (and other beliefs) as an extension of what he knows as a psychologist, which he likely believes in.

nice. i like jp but its come to my attention from a fellow friend that he is dishonest. of course he is ironically very adamant in that people should not lie (as it should be) however jp likes to talk about religion and god yet he himself is not religious. according to religion, he is a non believer so that classifies him as a confused individual who cant pertain to a solid belief (which i understand is extremely difficult, so i dont blame him.)

I thought Peterson was pretty open about being a religious pragmatist. He doesn't have faith, but he believes Christianity is a good agent for social cohesion and doesn't think you need to truly believe the facts of it to buy into the ideology
